I think this is my favorite track on this "Solo Sessions" album. This was originally an instrumental piece written by Charlie Chaplin for his film "Modern Times" in 1938. Lyrics were added in 1954 when Nat King Cole made a hit out of it. But it was still a very slow ballad. I felt it needed to be kicked up in tempo... and it worked! Tell me it doesn't make you smile!
